Skills people can build a life on.

Six trades, each paired with counselling and guidance, taught by Bweyale Vocational Education with our tools and volunteer experts behind its teachers. Practical, hands-on and chosen for one reason: they lead to real income.

Levels

Three levels, one path.

Every trade is built as a three-level path. Level 1 runs today; Levels 2 and 3 are coming soon, and Level 1 graduates will be the first to move on.

  1. 01Enrolling now

    Level 1Foundation

    1 year

The entry course: safe working, core skills and a BVE certificate, ready to earn.

  2. 02Coming soon

    Level 2Intermediate

    2 years

Deeper skills and larger projects, for graduates who want to work independently.

  3. 03Coming soon

    Level 3Advanced

    3 years

Advanced techniques, supervision and teaching skills, preparing the next master instructors.

The participant journey

From first conversation to first income.

Every trade follows the same five steps, so we can compare results across programs and improve them year after year.

  1. 01

    Outreach & selection

BVE identifies participants with the fewest options and the most to gain, using transparent criteria agreed with us.

  2. 02

    Intake & counselling

Each participant gets an intake conversation, a baseline assessment and access to counselling from day one.

  3. 03

Hands-on training, taught by trained teachers

Practical, workshop-based learning with instructors who have trained alongside our volunteer experts, over one year at Level 1.

  4. 04

    Starter support

Graduates receive a starter toolkit for their trade, so they can begin earning straight away.

  5. 05

    Follow-up

We check in at 3, 6 and 12 months to see whether graduates are earning — and what would help them more.
